If the standard Elk Hair Caddis is my go to fly, this is next in line. While some of EZEYEFLY’s large eyes are painted to make tying the fly to the tippet even easier, this one does that plus some. We think the painted eye is an extension of the fly itself--making the eye the head of the caddis. If you have a trout refuse a typical caddis, have one of these painted-eye flies ready. Most trout have never seen one of these before and will be more likely to make that rise!
